Seed2STEM – GLAM launch

On the 20th of March, the Geelong Manufacturing Council proudly launched its GLAM (Girls Leading Advanced Manufacturing) Bendigo program, with over 20 students from nine schools around Bendigo and Castlemaine.

The students gathered at Bendigo Tech School for the first of six industry immersion days, participating in a leadership workshop with Kate from The Confidence Company in the morning. Later they donned high-vis vests to tour Coliban Water’s Epsom site, gaining insight into water reclamation infrastructure and careers.

The GLAM program allows female students in Years 9 and 10 to explore the diverse and exciting careers and pathways in advanced manufacturing, engineering, and STEM trades through interactive challenges and industry mentoring.

Bendigo Tech School is a proud supporter of GLAM, an initiative of the Geelong Manufacturing Council's Seed2STEM Bendigo program.
