My secret life as a Tech School Student Ambassador

Taz recently spent a week with us on work experience, where she worked on communications and social media. We asked her to produce an article on her experience as a Tech School Ambassador. Thanks Taz!

My name is Tha Zin Oo and I’m currently in year 10 at Weeroona College Bendigo, I’ve started my tech school ambassador journey since 2018.

Being a Tech School ambassador has given me a variety of opportunities and lifelong skills such as design thinking, communication and leadership. Some examples of opportunities I experienced were when I was MC at the official Bendigo Tech School opening in front of the minister of education was an incredible honour. In addition to that, I also got to help out at the community open days where I was able to share my knowledge and passion about the Tech School to the public.

Another positive aspect of being an ambassador is that I get to make new friends and meet more people who share a similar passion and interest as me and get to meet up fortnightly to share our ideas, learn off each other and collaborate on projects to help out with the Bendigo Tech School.

If you have any interest in technology or like to be creative, The Bendigo Tech School is perfect for you. Try it out, you’ll love it!!!
