About

The Bendigo Tech School is a centre of deep learning that uses leading-edge technology, discovery and innovation to solve real world problems.

Our aim is to deliver advanced STEAM knowledge and skills that Victorian school students need to flourish in the rapidly changing global economy.

STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics.

Tech Schools empower students with the skills required for the jobs of the future. Our co-designed and locally relevant education programs help to develop critical and creative thinking, innovation, problem solving, communication, leadership, teamwork and entrepreneurship skills.

We are hosted by La Trobe University Bendigo and we work in partnership with 14 local secondary schools, and local industry and enterprise. We seek partner input through by the Tech School Advisory Committee, Industry Advisory Committee and the Bendigo Tech School Ambassadors.

Bendigo Tech School is one of 10 Tech Schools funded across the state, as part of the Victorian Government’s commitment to the Education State of Victoria.

Tech Schools innovative learning programs focus on using design thinking methodologies, allowing students to work on real world problems that are supported by our industry partners and integrated into their school curriculum.
